Helt Promoted to Labette Health Human Resources Director

Parsons, KS – Labette Health has promoted Benefits Manager Jessica Helt to the position of Human Resources Director.

Helt, a native of Labette County, received her Master of Business Administration from Pittsburg State University in 2020. She began her career at Labette Health in 2014 as the office manager at the hospital’s rehabilitation center and transitioned to the role of Benefits Manger in 2017.

I am incredibly excited and grateful for this opportunity to continue to grow with the hospital and serve our employees in this new capacity,” said Helt.

Helt is certified by Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) – a credential for senior-level HR professionals who develop strategies, lead the HR function, foster influence in the community, analyze performance metrics, and align HR strategies to organizational goals. She has served as President of the local SHRM chapter, is currently the Kansas State Government Affairs Director for KS SHRM and was the recipient of the “KS SHRM Rising Star” award. Helt also serves on the Parsons Chamber of Commerce Board.
