Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy services for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans to improve communication abilities in patients. This role will involve a mix of independent work and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for individuals and groups.
• Provide therapy services aimed at improving communication and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate with other professionals, including Parsons, to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Stay updated on current best practices in the field.

Essential Skills & Abilities:

• Strong clinical knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current licensure in Kansas
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• BLS required
