The Clinic Receptionist will be responsible for managing day-to-day front-office operations in a healthcare setting. This includes answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, greeting and assisting patients and the public, compiling charge tickets and receipts, and ensuring that insurance cards are obtained and verified. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:

Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate personnel.

Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring proper documentation.

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

Assist patients with completing necessary forms and obtaining insurance information.

Compile charge tickets, process receipts, and ensure accurate billing procedures.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA guidelines.

Support the clinic team in other administrative duties as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:

One to three months of related experience and/or training.

Strong public relation skills with the ability to engage with patients and the public effectively.

Proficiency in computer software, including scheduling systems, is preferred.
Certifications and Licenses:

Current CPR certification required.
